Olds Institute vs. Town of Olds
The Town of Olds is growing and will soon be a city. Town administration is stretched to support the needs and wants of the tax base. While Olds has much to offer, we as citizens can’t expect the Town to do everything for us. The Olds Institute is a grassroots community organization incorporated to do community economic development. Volunteers are empowered to contribute their time, talent and treasury to initiatives that enhance quality of life in Olds. The Olds Institute supports a variety of volunteer programs so the Town can focus its efforts on core services.
Olds Chamber of Commerce
Like the Town of Olds, Olds College, Olds Regional Exhibition and Mountain View County, the Olds and District Chamber of Commerce is a core member of the Olds Institute. The Chamber of Commerce is the voice of business. They hold several networking events and promote value-added programs for their business membership. They advocate and educate, market and support business. They rent an office at Everything Olds and support many of the initiatives we undertake for the betterment of business and community.
