The Community Services Department at the Town of Olds promotes quality of life for the citizens of Olds. We build collaboration among community organizations, business, and agencies in Olds. Citizens are encouraged to participate in creating the quality of life for our community.

With over 160 not-for-profit organizations in the community, there exists many unique opportunities for us all to “give where we live”. Through service clubs, church organizations, youth and family programs, sports and recreation, plus many other groups and special events that occur throughout the year, residents of Olds have opportunity to create the community they want for themselves and their families through their volunteer activities.

The Town of Olds Family and Community Support Services (FCSS)  is a partnership between the Province and a Municipality or Metis Settlement that develops locally driven preventive social initiatives to enhance the well-being of individuals, families and communities. The Nu-2-U Thrift Store profits are donated back into the community through a grant application process. Both are open to organizations that benefits people in need. Applications for funding are available every fall and are available on the Town of Olds website.
