Community Learning Campus- Ride For Mental Health

5:30 am - 8:00 pm 4500 50 Street, Olds College Campus

On Friday, January 25th & Saturday, January 26th from 6:00am- 8:00pm we will be placing our 14 spin bikes on the inside land of our running track. These spin bikes will be accessible to all fitness members for their workout! For every kilometre that you ride Stak Fitness will donate $.15 to A Mental Health Initiative in Alberta to a maximum of $900. To have your workout count towards the donation take a picture of your workout summary, and present it to the CLC Fitness Centre. Additionally, on Friday, January 25th we will be offering a free Spin class from 12:10-12:50 PM on a first-come first-served basis.

Celebrate Sports Day/MNP Canada Winter Games Torch Relay

MNP Winter Games Torch Relay Starting at the Sportsplex 4:00 PM Ceremony at the Sportsplex 5:00 PM Other sporting activities through out the day at various locations around town! Did you know Red Deer and Central Alberta are hosting the Nations for the 2019 Canada Winter games? Join us for FREE ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS for the entire family as the MNP Torch Relay comes through our community on January 31st. Experience, Learn about the 19 different Sports showcased at the 2019 Canada Winter Games at the Olds Sportsplex, Olds Aquatic Centre and the Community Campus Centre! Free Public Swimming, including a Free Synchronized Swimming Lesson, Free Public Skating, Free Drop in Squash, Rocks and Rings Curling Program, Celebrity Curling Games, Kick Boxing, Ringette, Judo, Gymnastic, Speed Skating, Figure Skating Demo’s occur throughout the day. Free Olds Ringette Association Special Exhibition Game at 6:30 PM and free Olds College Bronco’s facing off against the Red Deer College Queens starts at 7:00 PM. And Free Hot Dogs and Pop sponsored by West View Coop and Free Sports Swag Bags for the first 100 kids donated by MNP, Digger Sports, CLC and the Town of Olds.
