Chillin' at the Beach! Community Grizzly Game

7:00 pm - 10:00 pm 5133 - 52 Street

Ready for another fun family night of hockey, games and contests? Olds Institute, O-NET, Mountain View Power and Everything Olds are hosting one more community game this hockey season to start 2020 with some fun and festivity! We know that winters are oh-so long and we can feel a little post-holiday blues in January - but we are here to turn your frown upside down! Come to the Sportsplex on Saturday, January 25 and let's start looking forward to summer days! Rather than an ugly Christmas sweater, you can pull out your gaudy Hawaiian tourist shirt! Or wear a sun hat and shades! Mermaid costumes! Flip flops if you dare! Since it's cold outside, let's bring the beach life inside! Some of the fun activities will include: Selfie-stations! Bring your phone fully charged and get pics in front of our beach-inspired scenes! (use the hashtag #myolds and you may show up on the Jumbotron!) Beach Ball Hot Potato! Kids, enter to have your name drawn to play on the ice during the first intermission! Rubber Duck Shoot Out! Mom and Dad can enter for a chance to win dinner out with this center-ice shoot-out … with a twist! And of course there will be draws, contests and games in the concourse throughout the evening. Plan to be there!
