Cipperlys Pond and Campground

Nestled between Olds and Didsbury on range road 15, the campground and pond has many features. With a supply of power and non-power sites, you are able to bring their motorhome or tent. Olds College Botanical Gardens

With 25 acres of landscape, the Botanical Gardens is the newest phase known as the Wet Lands. There are 1.3 kilometres of walking trails as well as two public gazebos and an amphitheatre. The garden is aesthetically pleasing and features collections of hardy peonies, lilies and roses, natural areas, a wide variety of aquatics, herb garden, fabulous annual displays and much more. Hiller’s Reservoir

A 19-minute drive from Olds, Hiller’s reservoir is a day camp area. With picnic tables surrounding the lake, it is the perfect opportunity for a family picnic with walking trails as well as lots of fishing within the lake. Visit for more information.

Bloxham’s Slough/ Coppley’s Lake

A bird watching area located off the ‘beating track,’ the slough surrounds just west of Range Road 21 on township road 324 and has some of the best bird watching in Mountain View County. Check out for its location.
